You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement. If you are submitting a piece on behalf of another person or an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind them to these terms.

03 Services Offered
Tempora provides specialist watch repair and servicing from our workshop in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Our current services are:
- Routine Maintenance & Adjustment — cleaning, oiling, gasket checks, and accuracy adjustment for daily-wear watches.
- Case & Bracelet Refinishing — hand refinishing of metal cases and bracelets to restore brushed and polished surfaces.
- Heritage Piece Conservation — measured conservation for older and treasured watches, including sourcing of period-correct parts.
All services are performed at our Chiang Mai premises. We do not currently offer collection or postal servicing. Availability of specific services may vary; we will advise you at the time of assessment if a requested service is not possible.
04 User Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information when making an enquiry or leaving a piece with us, including your contact details and any relevant history of the watch.
You confirm that you are the owner of any piece submitted, or that you have the owner's consent to submit it for service.
You agree to collect your piece within 30 days of being notified that work is complete. Pieces not collected within 90 days may be subject to a storage charge, and we reserve the right to take appropriate steps regarding uncollected property in accordance with Thai law.
When using our website, you agree not to:
- Reproduce or distribute our content without written permission
- Attempt to disrupt or interfere with our website's operation
- Use automated means to scrape or collect data from our site

05 Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, photography, design, and layout — is the property of Tempora or its licensors. Nothing on this site grants you any right to use our name, logo, or any other proprietary material.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view and print pages from this website for your own personal, non-commercial use. This licence does not permit reproduction for redistribution or commercial purposes.
Any photographs or descriptions you provide to us regarding a piece remain your property. By sharing them, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use them for the purpose of assessing and communicating about that service only.
06 Payment Terms
All prices are stated in Thai Baht (฿) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise noted. A formal quotation will be provided before any work commences.
For Heritage Piece Conservation, work is costed and agreed in stages. No stage will proceed without your written approval of the relevant cost.
Payment is due in full upon collection of the piece. We accept cash and major credit and debit cards. We do not store card details.
If you choose not to proceed with a service following our assessment, a modest assessment fee may apply to cover the technician's evaluation time. This will be communicated to you in advance.
Quoted prices are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. If the scope of work is found to differ materially from the initial assessment once the piece is opened, we will contact you before proceeding.
07 Service Terms
Estimated completion times are provided as a guide only. Routine Maintenance typically takes ten to fifteen working days; Case & Bracelet Refinishing seven to twelve working days. Heritage conservation timelines are agreed individually.
We will notify you when work is complete and ready for collection. We will also contact you during the work if any unforeseen findings alter the scope or cost.
We take every reasonable precaution in handling pieces in our care. In the event of loss or damage attributable to Tempora's negligence, our liability is limited as described in Section 9.
We do not alter, replace, or remove original components without your knowledge. For Heritage pieces, a written record of any parts replaced will be included with the returned piece.
Work is carried out exclusively at our Chiang Mai workshop by our own technicians. We do not subcontract service work to third parties.
08 Disclaimers
Our website and its contents are provided in good faith for informational purposes. While we take care to keep information accurate and current, we make no representation that all details are complete or free from error.
General guidance on this website about watch care or service intervals is provided for reference only and should not be taken as advice specific to your piece. We are glad to discuss individual requirements when you bring a watch to us.
Third-party links on our website are provided as a convenience. We do not endorse or take responsibility for the content of external sites.
09 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Tempora's total liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the amount paid for that specific service.
We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from our services or from the use of our website, including loss of use, loss of data, or loss of anticipated savings.
We are not liable for pre-existing conditions in a piece that were not identified at the time of acceptance, provided we acted with reasonable care during assessment.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Where circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including supply chain delays, utility disruptions, or other unforeseen events — affect our ability to complete work within the quoted timeframe, we will notify you promptly and agree a revised schedule.
10 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Tempora, its staff, and contractors harmless from any claim, loss, or expense — including reasonable legal costs — arising from your breach of these terms, your provision of inaccurate information, or any claim that you did not have the right to submit the piece concerned.
11 Termination
You may withdraw from a service agreement at any time before work has commenced, with no charge other than any assessment fee already incurred.
If you wish to cancel after work has begun, we will discuss the stage reached and any reasonable costs already incurred before agreeing on a fair resolution.
Tempora may decline to carry out or continue a service if we have reasonable grounds to believe the information provided is inaccurate, or if the safety of our staff or the integrity of our equipment is a concern.
Provisions relating to intellectual property, liability, and dispute resolution survive any termination of an agreement.
12 Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.
If you have a concern about our service, we ask that you contact us in the first instance so that we may try to resolve the matter informally. Most concerns can be addressed quickly through a straightforward conversation.
Should a dispute remain unresolved after good-faith discussion, the parties agree to consider mediation before resorting to formal proceedings. Any proceedings that do become necessary shall be brought before the competent courts of Chiang Mai Province.
Thai consumer protection law, including the Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522 and subsequent amendments, applies where relevant.
13 General Provisions
Entire Agreement. These terms, together with any written quotation or work order, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tempora regarding our services and supersede all prior discussions.
Severability. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
Waiver. Failure to enforce any provision of these terms on a particular occasion does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these terms without our written consent. We may transfer our obligations to a successor business without your consent, provided your rights are not materially diminished.
Notices. Formal notices to Tempora should be sent to the address in Section 15 below. We will communicate with you using the contact details you have provided.
